    When refuses to show young American Jews the truth about the Occupation then it’s on young American Jews to demand they do so. Israel is enforcing a military Occupation on Palestinians in our name and that’s unacceptable.

    Ask her if she’ll come out and oppose the Israeli Occupation. She refused money from fossil fuel. She should also refuse money from groups like that basically pay politicians to unconditionally support Israel

    As we American Jews celebrate 18 yo Ahed Tamimi’s release from Israeli military prison we need to think about the 1000s of children detained in our own country and vice-versa. This is what happens when nation-states obsess over borders. They demonize the other, even children

    Finally Ahed Tamimi was released! Even though she’s an amazing freedom fighter for her people, she’s also a teenager who’s just tryna eat some ice cream. So happy Ahed and the Tamimi family are reunited!

    Ahed Tamimi got to have some ice cream after eight months behind bars, after having to spend her 18th birthday in shackles. “it’s not just my story, it’s all Palestinian children. Fight for them as you have fought for me” she tells me.

    On our tour we would’ve never seen Hebron, even though it’s one of the 4 holy cities and BR takes groups to the other 3. That’s because Hebron is such a striking example of military Occupation and BR doesn’t want us to see that side of Israel

    Then out of the chaos a child appeared with a cup of paint, threw it at our tour guide and ran away. A soldier watched him do so and did nothing.

    Being there the paint throwing was obviously planned. When we arrived at this one spot a group of children appeared and started running around us causing chaos. A soldier told them to stop and they yelled back ‘you can’t tell me what to do’

    When we left we were then sort of chased out by a crowd of Israel soldiers flanked by the settler leader, Ofer Ohana and chanting ‘עמ ישראל חי’—the nation of Israel lives. Being surrounded by that many soldiers is always scary

    When it happened 7 Israeli soldiers were all around us. They couldn’t do much though because they’re literally not allowed to touch settlers. In this pic settler leader Ofer Ohana is literally telling the soldier to back off him right after paint incident

    The day after we walked off we went to Hebron with and caught a glimpse of the settler violence and harassment Palestinians face daily. A child settler threw paint at , our tour guide. Soldiers did nothing. Settler leader with iPhone laughed

    Finally will be released from the Israel’s juvenile military prison. She has been there for over 6 months since slapping a soldier for trespassing into her family’s home. Thank god the Tamimi family can be reunited. Ahed is a true hero
