This is what colonization and ethnic cleansing looks like: Israeli Occupation Forces forcibly remove an elderly Palestinian woman from her home, replacing her with illegal Israeli settlers.

And they were chasing down a vandalism suspect. That’s it. Vandalism! Not mass murder. Somebody was smashing car windows with a “tool bar.” The cops weren’t even in their cars.

Stephon Clark. Officers reportedly shot at him 20 times in his backyard because they thought he was holding a tool bar. It was his cellphone. Someone will have to explain this to the two little boys he leaves behind - one and three years old.

First the said they shot and killed 22 year old and denied him any first aid because he had a gun. Then they said he didn't actually have a gun, but a crowbar. Now they admit it wasn't a gun or a crowbar, but HIS CELLPHONE. IN HIS OWN BACKYARD.

His name is Stephon Clark. He lived with his grandparents & siblings. Stephon was carrying a cellphone - in his own backyard. The police apparently thought it was a weapon and shot him 20 times. 20 times. Killed him. Stephon was 22. His whole life ahead of him. Horrifying. 💔

Over the weekend, Israeli forces raided the occupied Palestinian village of Bartaa and suspended the works permits of 100 Palestinians in the village. Without these permits, their mobility and employment is in jeopardy.

Rachel Corrie’s legacy of courage continues 15 years after her death. On this day in 2003, she was killed by an Israeli bulldozer for standing up to defend a Palestinian family’s home in Gaza.

. This is the brilliant 17 year old brother who was murdered yesterday by the package bomb brought to his home in Austin, TX. Called “the smartest person in the room,” he was known as a kind soul with limitless potential.
