    I have to admit, I have a couple of scripts/projects where I fail in this. But this made me really rethink how to handle these specific projects. If you, like me, taught your self years ago, after working in matlab, this is a good read.

    how long do you let your computer attempt to finish a gamm model before you abort it? Had one running for 20 minutes earlier today that I aborted... but I _really_ want to get the results of that model...
