I previously wrote a piece on some good shows for newcomers, but generally they are under 20 episodes. Although a few since the original post had second seasons: My Hero Academia is now at 36 episodes but still ongoing, and Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu wrapped up at 25 or 26.

Also seperately wrote about ACCA, which is only 12 episodes.

I purposely use "comic" instead of "manga," because I am generally assuming that I’m writing for an audience who might not know the term. Also manga is just the Japanese word for comics, and so they are interchangeable in that context.
