Watch over 20 minutes of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
3Looking to get ahead of next week's gaming extravaganza, Square Enix today held a pre-E3 live stream dedicated to Deus Ex. In addition to revealing a new mobile "Go" title (aptly, Deus Ex Go), the developer also debuted two new gameplay trailers for Mankind Divided, the full sequel to Human Revolution coming later this year.
The first one, above, is a five-minute video revealing a new game mode called Breach, a standalone arcade-style shooter included with the main game where everyone is a polygonal bipedal monstrosity (with guns). The second is a lightly-narrated 18-minute video of Mankind Divided that shows off some of the hacking, sneaking, and combat gameplay. (Note that the demo has infinite life, energy, and ammo — it probably won't be easy when the game actually comes out.) The most important line is around the 14-minute mark: "I like cats." Why do cats matter so much? We may never know, but it's good they have a fan.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launches August 23rd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
