Paul Szoldra

Paul is a Correspondent for Tech Insider mainly focused on cybersecurity, hackers, and the "dark side" of the next big thing in technology.

Before that, he served as the Executive Editor for We Are The Mighty, a military-focused news and entertainment site, and at Business Insider, where he began his journalism career as an intern and moved up the ranks to become the organization's first Front Page Editor and its first West Coast Editor. He is a veteran of the US Marine Corps.

Paul has interviewed everyone from Hollywood legends and Medal of Honor recipients to award-winning journalists and controversial software visionaries. He is particularly proud of the timeline he wrote of NSA leaks, and his emotional essay about the war in Iraq.
