How to register for a PressPass
First step: If you haven't yet registered, please do so.
If you have already registered, please go to the The presspass application and log in.
You’ll be asked to identify your news organization(s) and your affiliation status (employee or freelance).
You’ll also be invited to upload or provide links to examples of your work.
On verification of your credentials, we will promote your membership to Verified Professional Journalist status, which will give you the benefits of access to embargoed articles, contact information for sources, expert query form, and newsletters with additional information relevant to journalists.
How to change your user preferences
How to change your password, wire subscriptions, contact info, etc.
Log into the website with your username and password. Click the “My User Profile” link at the upper right corner of the screen.
You will see several tabs where you can change your user information, wire subscriptions, password, social media information, and privileges (if you are a client and have the ability to edit user settings.)
You can also temporarily suspend your newswire subscriptions.
Does Newswise distribute embargoed news?
Yes. Embargoed news is protected by our password access system. Only vetted journalists are given PressPass access to embargoed news.

I can’t log in, but my username and password are correct
If your username and password are correct, but you are still unable to log in, please delete your browser cookies and cache.
To delete your cookies in Internet Explorer, from the menu:
Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Temporary Internet Files: Delete Cookies, Delete Files.
To delete your cookies in FireFox, from the menu:
Tools > Clear Recent History > check Cookies and Cache.
To delete your cookies in Safari, from the menu:
Safari > Reset Safari > check Remove all cookies and Empty the cache.
