Bodleian Old Library
From 3–6 January there will be a limited occupancy of 100 people in the Bodleian Old Library due to work taking place on the north staircase. There will be no access to the Gladstone Link from the Bodleian Old Library, and Duke Humfrey’s Library will be closed during this period.

Upper and Lower Reading Rooms
Monday – Friday: 9am – 9pm
Saturday: 10am – 4pm
Sunday: 11am – 5pm
Duke Humfrey's Library
Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Christmas opening hours
Friday 23 December: 9am – 5pm
The Bodleian Old Library will be closed from Saturday 24 December to Monday 2 January.
The last delivery of material from offsite storage will arrive on the afternoon of Thursday 22 December. The deadline for placing requests for this delivery on SOLO is 5pm on Wednesday 21 December.

About the library
The Bodleian Old Library is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. Part of the larger Bodleian Library complex, it is connected to the Radcliffe Camera by the underground Gladstone Link. It has three historic reading rooms: the Lower Reading Room, the Upper Reading Room and Duke Humfrey’s Library.
