The employment–population ratio, at 59.7 percent, was unchanged in May. The unemployment rate, at 4.7 percent, was 0.3 percentage point lower than a month earlier. A year earlier, in May 2015, the employment–population ratio was 59.4 percent and the unemployment rate was 5.5 percent. Full Text »
