Search Tips
This TITLE search is limited to the ELECTRONIC RESOURCES Collection. This collection includes electronic journals, electronic books, electronic databases, CDROMs and electronic Short Loan material.
In a TITLE search the title words must be in order, starting from the beginning of the title.
Word order essential
In a TITLE search, the title words must be in order, starting from the beginning of the title.
Number of words
Type as much, or as little, of the title as you want. For example,
- merchant of venice
- merchant of v
- merchant
Exact title
You can use the vertical bar to limit your search to exactly the title as typed, and not all the titles beginning with the words you have typed. The vertical bar is the character above the back slash (\) on your keyboard. For example,
- castle| (3 titles)
- castle (84 titles) without the vertical bar
Periodicals
If you are searching for a periodical, limit to the PERIODICALS collection, by clicking the PERIODICALS tab along the top of the page.
