Import from PDF or PowerPoint

Presentations can be imported from PDF or PowerPoint documents. This feature is useful when you want to use Slides to share an existing deck or present it live. Imported slides are converted to images meaning their inner content can not be edited, however you can add new slides around the imported ones or remove/rearrange them. 

Here's how to import a presentation:
1. Create a new deck
2. Open the "Import" panel in the editor's left sidebar
3. Browse and select a PDF/PPT document to upload

It may take up to a few minutes to complete your import depending on how many slides it contains. File uploads are limited to 100mb.

Importing PowerPoint documents
If you are trying to import a .ppt or .pptx document and it's not working please try exporting the presentation from PowerPoint to PDF and importing that.

  1. Export to ZIP (Lite/Pro)
  2. Export to PDF (Lite/Pro)
  3. Export to Dropbox (Pro)
  4. Import from PDF or PowerPoint
  5. Import from reveal.js
