Michael Slovis is an American director and cinematographer for film and television. He is best known for his work on Law and Order: SVU, Elementary, Chicago Fire, CSI, and was the cinematographer for Breaking Bad. He also previously directed Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's 2008 TV series New Amsterdam.
On July 2, 2014, it was announced that Slovis would be directing two episodes in the fifth season, the season premiere and the second episode.[1]
