The CMS Management Board, chaired by the CMS Spokesperson, is responsible for directing the CMS experiment and for drawing up policy. All important Management Board decisions must be submitted to the CMS Collaboration Board for discussion and final approval. The Spokesperson represents the Collaboration in dealing with other organisations and committees.
