You'd probably be better off checking your ROTC detachments rather than going E-O if that's what you want to do.

Honor guard question. by Snuffalapapuss in AirForce

[–]noahjk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some may argue that doing honor guard is your primary job as they remove you from your work center. No. This is only at the larger bases.

I'm at one of the smallest bases and we have a constant 30 person team doing probably 8-15 funerals/week + retirements/CoC's/etc. We work purely HG for 8 months at a time, it's a full-time job. I don't think you really know what you're talking about.

Let's talk about Mock-it's Rules and We Dem Girlz not getting disqualified by DailyXP in RocketLeague

I just played 2 ranked doubles games against the greasy guy and maestro (didn't know who they were beforehand btw), me and a random lost the first one, were matched back up all 4 same players, and beat them the second time. At the end maestro kept complaining about the game being glitched and greasy just said "you just played your luckiest game" or some shit, lol. Can confirm they're dickheads.

Airman, 39, becomes first chief(E9) to earn Ranger tab by Adult-male in Military

I'm pretty sure a solid 20 of them are stationed at the same base as me, lol. I see them all the time

Note to Boots: Just wear the Cap and Gown like everyone else. U.S. Marine not allowed to wear uniform for graduation by justablur in Military

[–]noahjk 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Fact. If I'm not getting paid to/forced to wear my uniform, I'm staying as far away from the military image as I can.

My first car, a 2016 Fiesta ST. by Bonafy in cars

[–]noahjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck man. Whenever you start to mod, you're fighting an uphill battle with FMG if you need warranty work. Same with your buddy, if something big happens I doubt he'll get it covered with a big turbo.

As long as you're aware of the issues you could face, have fun modding the car and congrats!

What things have you seen Airman do that would have gotten them fired immediately in any civilian position? by Lobsterbib in AirForce

[–]noahjk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Commander was best I've had IMO, he wasn't afraid to get shit done but definitely had a few enemies along the way. I didn't have the shirt for too long but he was pretty solid too. We've had like 6 shirts and 3 commanders in a year, lol.

[–]noahjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/u/Bonafy isn't gonna have a warranty for much longer if he's going catless.

Bonafy, if you're reading this, at your age and your (probably lack of) disposable income, it might be smart to wait a few years before you start modding everything. I know that technically you still have a warranty unless Ford can prove your modifications caused the issue, and I'm probably the wrong one to talk since I have a fully bolted '16 FoST, but unless you can afford to either have no car or to drop a few grand here and there if issues arise, you'd probably be better off saving up for an emergency fund ($6-10k) before spending (not emergency fund) money modding your car.

If you post which game it is, someone may possibly have a copy lying around that they'd be willing to share with you.

LPT: If you're a business owner, keep a vector file of your logo handy by Waagwai in LifeProTips

[–]noahjk 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Why a vector is important: It is a mathematical representation of an image instead of pixel-based. This means that it can be resized however you want, since it will just be rendered with the predetermined formula for that logo instead of being rendered by putting dots on a page.

it was implied for a lot of us, but hard to understand for some I'm sure.

If I only have an ice wiz on a tower, I don't counter him, and I've never lost a battle from ignoring him. 3500 trophies for reference.

[–]noahjk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always see people post stuff like this, but most of my friends use iPhones, and it's always been that way. I honestly don't believe Android devices have as much influence as they report.

Why isn't Spotify aiming at achieving feature parity between mobile and desktop clients? by TheBeerCannon in spotify

[–]noahjk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally all it would take for me to switch to Google Music would be the addition of folders for playlists and a first-party desktop client that isn't hacked-together javascript like the website.

I know it's authorized in the AFCENTI 2903, but in regular 2903 it's not authorized. Just depends on who decides to give you shit for it.
