In the northeastern United States, difficult #weather conditions led to flooding. The combination of melting snow, temperate temperatures and heavy rain caused numerous ice jams in several northeastern US states, including #Pennsylvania, #New_York, #Connecticut, #Vermont and #Massachusetts. The ice jams caused evacuation in some areas where water levels in the rivers are rising. The authorities closed a number of roads.
