The app works well on my HTC Desire 526 as far as resolution goes. It has detail and the color is vibrant. On the other hand I can't access any of my stuff and the app seems to be void of any options other then spinning the earth around and zooming in and out. There are no options for Sky, Moon or Mars and it has no overlays for the ocean. All in all it's pretty disappointing but it's also Google, so hopefully it'll improve with time.

Amazing Google Earth is probably the most incredible FREE app out there. The world at your fingertips. Christopher Columbus would have loved it. Just like our planet, this is an ongoing project. To those who gave bad reviews - get a new device, as it's probably your phone that sucks. This app is amazing.

Horrible I don't know why I even wasted the time. App is crap. Can't do anything with this. Its useless. It crashes every 30 seconds! Thank god its free. I can't imagine paying for such a frustrating service. If someone can help fix the issues with this, that would be helpful. But I'm not expecting it.

Am i missing something? I can't seem to find any quality controls. I can't turn on lat long grids, i can't seem to customise any of what i see. I can't get ride of or adjust what I see at the bottom.. and I can't even find a map that will give me lat long grids because I use Google as my search engine and the first 5,000 pages are self advertising. Sure, you can search with lat long, but it's not very user-friendly. I will delete soon

It keeps crashing! Yes it is good and can access most places on earth, but it keeps crashing all the time. Fix this problem please! For those who want this app, stick with Google maps because it crashes every 2 minutes for me!

Better sattelite images on google maps Don't even try looking at the Nazca Lines or any other interesting things that might be fun to look at from the sky, only disappointment and frustration will ensue. What is the point of this if not quality imaging that can be zoomed in on? Trees look like animated lego land, what a joke....

Just Stopped Working I didn't have it but a few weeks and it finally stopped working. Acts like it has some kind of a glitch in it and then kicks me off of the app. I have finally uninstalled. Others seem to have success with it so I might try to reinstall at another time and give it another try...but not tonight. UPDATE: Reinstalled, and now it is worse than before. Shuts off almost instantly. Well, uninstall yet again, and for the last time. Do not recommend.

Thought this was google earth...where I don't get to see a virtual computerised picture. Did I fall into a Disney movie? It doesn't even show my current location "irl" it's just a mess of colour

Why is it that almost everywhere on Earth the map is just a blurry mess? Can't look up close at hardly anything except where I live and those areas the map is several years old. And the other features, moon, etc I can't use at all. Read a lot about this but after installing it I never really use it because it's boring and doesn't really work properly. Three stars is being GENEROUS actually.

Unable to find and install this application in Turkey. Just as Google Street View which is not available too. Also Google Maps satellite view does NOT work in Turkey! WTF are you doing Google?

The best care package in the world. Super Computer. It is fun to learn from you. It is always fun to learn more. Something like a drug. To receive more input. And relay the best message to the right folks. That's all we are until we have became one as one before us. To get to where they are. Out above us as below and as fast as us slow. But faster we can go.

It's really cool, but keeps freezing up If you have time to play with it you can find nearby shops and whatever else you need, it's so fun! But I keep getting stuck behind big blocks of tree and then it freezes up and I have to close out if it. "Unfortunately google has shut down"

Amazing!!! I go on here, because I love to travel and see new places, but I never get to go anywhere anymore, cause I work too hard, for not enough pay. This app, allows me to see places I wish I could see in person. It's the next best thing to actually being at these places in person.

Google earth This is a very good app. But it is not current. When I looked at my residence there were items on my property that have been gone for almost a year. Also very blurry when close. Good for far away though.

Cool... Then... I couldn't use it properly because it kept on closing on it's own. And ones it closes my would tell that it stopped... It could have been nice for me to use this, but if I couldn't use it than rather not. Deleted

Innovation required! So I was talking to the local Librarian the other day (they'd been let go recently by their boss, so they're just walking around town, talking to anyone.) about this Earth program, and I said "Hey, this is all stored in 3d, right? So why can't someone just port the files to a vr compatible system? It doesn't have to be world wide, just maybe a small area or a single point. I mean, they're already able to steam vr video on YouTube, so how hard can it be? (I know that this in reality would actually be hard.)

Developer has made great thing but he/she doesn't want us to use.. It keeps crashing...... I'm using Galaxy note 3 (o/s. Kitkat) In my opinion, when the App work even more the least bit than doing nothing, the app is crashed.

Love it Used to crash on my Samsung Galaxy Avant, but that phone cracked in half...(Don't ask, won't tell). Now I have a ZTE model and it works perfectly. Love this app

Rubbish on Android Crashes every 30 seconds, street view out of date by at least 4 years. Works better on PC.

Yup IDK how this app has such a low rating who is complaining about this? Do you have nothing better to do then talk shot about everything in your lives or are you just trying to find someone to blame ?

Very crash prone Would be useful if it was working properly. Crashes after less than a minute. I was told by someone in IT to uninstall and then reinstall app but same problem remains. I don't have this problem with any other app so I assume it is Google Earth

Good but problem This is very nice and best features. But need time to time upgrade and improvements. Somethings gets crash. Upgrade it new. Keep it up to date time to time. And should be moon and Mars planet. Thanks Google team

It's like Google Maps, but bad. As I said. It's just like Google Maps but it's stuck in satellite mode, and you can look around and that's it. With Google Maps you can at least drop a pin on a place you find interesting, with Earth, you can't, you can use Google Maps as a Gps on your car, with Earth, you cannot. Save yourself some time and download Google Maps instead of this, it has all the features Earth has (except buildings in 3d) and isn't as useless.

3d is awful Can't turn off the junky 3d look. It's hard to understate just how awful google earth looks compared to google maps.

black screen,? Haven't used this app for a while but every postcode I entered today resulted in a blank black screen?? App is up to date so why doesn't it work any more??

Fun Ap Useful for mapping extra-continental holidays to mapping shorter routes . Great tool with young grandchildren for educational fun. To those who "can't make it work, obviously, it's time for a new tablet, iPad and phone.

Crashes Just downloaded and it crashes every time every 15 sec. Had it b4 on other devices and it was great. Pls fix this glitch.

Stops working ALL THE TIME I can't get more than 2 minutes with the app open until it closes, not responding. Does this on all three of my devices. Seeing as I can't even use the app a 1 star rating is generous.

Good but images are out of date The aerial images of our area are a least 5 years old (if not more), though it is claimed the images are renewed every 1 to 3 years? NOT TRUE!

Kml support is STILL broken after update. I save Kml in Google Earth desktop, upload to drive. Open earth android, load Kml from Google Drive and it either does nothing or shows a blue dot. Was working before last update. Have tried clearing cache, app data. Tried multiple kml,kmz files nothing helps.

Google dearth Rubbish, keeps crashing. Should figure a way to make a product that works before putting it out there. Look for something better
