Live HTTP Streaming Using Wowza Streaming Engine 4.2
You can use Wowza Streaming Engine 4.2 to create live streaming sessions for global delivery using CloudFront. Wowza Streaming Engine 4.2 supports the following HTTP based streaming protocols:
HLS (HTTP Live Streaming)
HDS (HTTP Dynamic Streaming)
Smooth Streaming
MPEG DASH
When a user streams a video using one of the above protocols, the video is broken into smaller chunks that are cached in the CloudFront network for improved performance and scalability.
