There hadn't been any official responses from Nokia upon the initial report, but now it seems a senior Nokia executive from China has confirmed those reports.
With Duo already reaching the top of the Play Store's free apps chart, people are excited to see what Google will add to it next. Oracle is not happy with the results of their lawsuit against Google, and they're doing everything they can to overturn the judgement. The latest complaint is about Google's plans to bring Android applications to Chrome OS via the Play Store. One of Google's arguments in the case was that Android didn't compete against Java SE on desktops, and Oracle feels this new evidence changes everything.
The Global Stable ROM for MIUI 9 will begin rolling out from August 23rd onwards. The first devices to get the ROM OTA include the Redmi 1S, Mi 2/2S, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 3G and Redmi Note 4G. Rest of the supported devices, including the Redmi Note 3 SD variant and the Mi Max will be getting the ROM progressively soon afterwards.
Canadian Carrier Telus updated its software update page informing that the Huawei Nexus 6P and the LG Nexus 5X on the carrier will be receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update on August 22nd. Telus had done the same last year too, and their information was accurate as far as Marshmallow announcement goes.
