    Watsonville teen crashes stolen pickup in suspected DUI chase

    WATSONVILLE >> A 17-year-old from Watsonville was arrested early Friday after a chase with a stolen pickup that ended with a crash into a house on Carr Street in Watsonville. The unlicensed teen found a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup with the keys in the ignition earlier in the night, said Watsonville police Sgt. Michael Ridgway. An officer tried to stop him about 3:15 a.m. on Lincoln Street near Stanford Street in part because he was driving without headlights on, Ridgway said.
