R-Word Campaign
Libtery Middle School Partner's Club will be making posters on Feb. 10th to promote the R-Word campaign. They will also film and prep video, warm up activity.
Monday: Principal's message and video to raise awareness shown to all student. Sticky Note Activity to be displayed in the main hall
Wednesday: student made power point shown to all students, pledge table in the cafeteria
Friday: Pledge table in the cafeteria

This will be J.T. Moore's very first Spread The Word To End The Word Movement! We will be having an ongoing advisory lesson for all students about how the use of the word retard(ed) in any context is wrong! Not only will we have participants pledge, there will also be a bake sale to support J.T. Moores Best Buddies Chapter, so they can participate in the local special Olympics!

California HS will have a pledge sheet set up at lunch, and "I Pledged" stickers to pass out to all those who do. Our school's leadership program will be publicizing the day in the coming weeks with posters, announcements during study hall, and a special presentation during our online Grizzly News Network video.
