I’m going away in November/December to finish my NYC book, but in the mean time, here are some things to look at/do/see! This post will read as a straight up brag, but I’m gonna leave this post up for months so I need to have all the links up and blahblahblah haha no one cares.
First, I’m happy to announce that in fall of 2017, Black Dog & Leventhal/Hachette will be publishing a book of my NYC history comics and cityscapes! (The book I referenced in the first sentence) It will be half material featured at Harper’s and the New Yorker, and half all new stuff. If you’re a bookstore, museum, venue, etc, in any location (not just NYC, but NYC encouraged!) and would like to have me do a slideshow and book signing in fall 2017 or later, please contact me!
Actress and writer Eden Sher wrote a book called The Emotionary, which I illustrated. We’re having our release party with a slideshow and signing at Skylight Books in Los Angeles, at 5pm, Saturday Oct. 22nd. Can’t attend? then buy the book online or at your local book store. (local bookstore encouraged!)

As for more illustration, here’s a New York Times piece about vanishing stores that I illustrated.
I’m super excited to be included in the new Best American Comics 2016 which is now on the NYT Best Sellers list! Order it online or in book and comic book stores now!
I won’t be doing any more events for the rest of 2016, but I will continue to post new history comics on the New Yorker and new then/now cityscapes on Harper’s.
And as always, TopatoCo is selling mugs, totes, shirts, prints and more!
