Error when trying to show alert on submit (Jquery)
Hello.
I have this fiddle:

I am trying to show the user an error on the page (instead of the alert mentioned in the fiddle - which isn't working).
Now I have to show user an error message when he tries to submit empty status.
What's there in the code to be fixed?
