Storm Doris brings widespread gales, and snow in southern Scotland.
Very strong winds and rain will affect much of the country today, particularly north Wales, the Midlands, northern England and East Anglia. There will be lighter winds in Scotland, but significant snowfall in the southern Uplands and the central belt.
The woman was hit by debris as the latest winter storm brings snow, rain and winds of up to 94mph.
Storm Doris lashes Northern Ireland, causing power cuts, tree falls and disruption to transport.
