We ranked 2nd in Financial Data Services, and ranked 1st compared to competitors in this category in people management, social responsibility and global competitiveness.

Human Rights Campaign, 2013-2016

The Human Rights Campaign awarded Thomson Reuters the top rating of 100 percent on its Corporate Equality Index for the fourth consecutive year. Businesses that achieve this score are recognized as “Best Places to Work for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equality.”

Certification was awarded for efforts to tackle inequality and promote inclusion across seven core standards and a comprehensive set of good practice competencies.

Thomson Reuters social intranet wins Employee Engagement award, 2013

Thomson Reuters social intranet "The Hub" was named the winner in the Engage Employees category at the 2013 Jive Awards (Oct. 24) for its achievement in engaging their approximately 60,000 employees, across more than 100 countries. Thomson Reuters won for demonstrating remarkable employee engagement leading to business results. This award recognizes a social intranet solution that helps foster cross-departmental collaboration, drive efficiency improvements, enable problem solving and that features innovative approaches to driving intranet adoption.

Top recognition for our industry leading solutions

Pulitzer Prize, 2008, 2014, 2016

A team of Reuters photographers were awarded the 2016 Pulitzer Prize in Breaking News Photography for coverage of the refugee crisis in Europe and the Middle East. This is Reuters third Pulitzer Prize win and second in the breaking news photography category.

Reuters journalists also won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize in International Reporting for the series on the oppression of the Muslim Rohingya of Myanmar.  In 2008, a Reuters photographer won the prize for Breaking News Photography for a photo of a Japanese videographer, sprawled on the pavement, fatally wounded during a street demonstration in Myanmar. In addition to these wins, Reuters has had five finalists in the past four years.

 

Internationalist Awards for Innovative Digital Solutions, 2015

Reuters Consumer Media received both a silver and bronze award at the Internationalist Awards for Innovative Digital Solutions , a program that recognize exceptional digital ad campaigns that incorporate great strategy and deliver strong results. 

Top 10 Global Services Providers in China, 2010, 2012-2015

For the fifth time, our Beijing Operations Center has been recognized by the China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP) for high quality service to the local and global businesses of China.

European Business Awards UK National Champion, 2014-2015

We are recognized in the European Business Awards for increasingly improving the experience of our customers, helping them get the most out of Thomson Reuters products and services and bringing the customer voice to the business to drive product improvements.

Waters Rankings, 2011-2015

Waters Technology  readers awarded Thomson Reuters Financial  services with Best Reference Data Provider and Best Corporate Actions Data Provider for the fourth and second consecutive years, respectively. The poll-based rankings recognize financial service providers for depth and quality of financial markets data coverage.

Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data Awards, 2006-2015

Thomson Reuters won six awards at the Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data awards , including Best Data Provider for Derivatives and Best Data Provider for Foreign Exchange, the ninth year in a row the company has won this award. 

Best Multibank and Independent Platform, 2003-2015

Thomson Reuters FXall is named “Best multibank and independent platform” in the annual Euromoney Foreign Exchange Survey. The survey polls more than 14,000 FX market participants representing a total volume of $225 trillion.

Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) Awards, 2009-2015

Reuters won three categories and received five honorable mentions in the 2015 SOPA Awards , described as Asia’s most distinguished journalism awards.

Risk Technology Awards, 2014

Thomson Reuters Accelus  won the inaugural Governance, Risk & Compliance category in the 2014 Risk Technology rankings . Rankings are based on solution functionality, usability, performance, return on investment and reliability. Thomson Reuters was also prominently ranked in four additional categories: Trading systems (forex), Pricing & analytics (forex), Enterprise-wide operational risk management, and Overall Ranking of Risk Technology providers.

Outsell, Inc.’s Top Patent Research and Analysis Solution, 2014

Outsell, Inc.  recognized Thomson Innovation  as the top patent research and analysis solution for 2014. The methodology included a three-part scoring system based on product quality and performance, sales and service.

Overseas Press Club Awards, 2014

An investigative series by Reuters on the economic empire behind Iran’s Supreme Leader was awarded an Overseas Press Club Award  for best business reporting from abroad in newspapers or news services. The "Assets of the Ayatollah”  series was also the recipient of a European Press Prize , a Gerald Loeb Award , an Ancil Payne Award for Ethics in Journalism , a Deadline Club Award  and a SABEW Award . Reuters received an additional four citations in the Overseas Press Club Awards in 2014.

CPA Practice Advisor Readers Choice Awards, 2014

PPC's SMART Practice Aids Audit Suite was the #1 choice in the Audit/Engagement category in the 2014 CPA Practice Advisor Readers Choice Awards . This is the latest in a long line of awards for the SMART Suite, which is a part of the Thomson Reuters Checkpoint line of audit products . The Readers Choice Awards are determined by votes from the more than 4,000 tax and accounting professionals who make up the CPA Practice Advisor readers.

Nicaragua's Public Registry Wins Latin America Geospatial Excellence Award, 2014

Nicaragua's Public Registry was awarded the Latin America Geospatial Excellence Awards for the country's implementation of SIICAR , a modern digital land registry, which is powered by theThomson Reuters Aumentum software platform . The awards recognize innovation and excellence demonstrated by geospatial technology developers, professionals, end users and policy makers.

Accelus World-Check One  was awarded the 'Technology Development of the Year ' accolade at the 15th Annual Asia Risk Awards. The awards recognize companies for their best practice in risk management and derivatives in the region.

UltraTax CS®  received the highest ratings for overall satisfaction in the 2014 Tax Software Survey sponsored by The Tax Adviser and Journal of Accountancy . Each year, the survey gathers feedback about tax and accounting software directly from users.
