What would you like to see us add to this API?
I'm requesting for the support of multiple keywords or names because it's useful when you are searching for a place that is not among the supported types.

Please add this feature. Its difficult to use only one keyword. at the moment I'm having trouble returning all taxi stands around an area because in the UK they're called minicabs and cabs and sometimes even taxis but not always. so when I add all three keywords it doesn't find many. and if i only put minicab it doesn't find taxis etc.

Absolutely. We have an app where customers often enter multiple search terms when looking for a place (i.e. "home depot") and report they're unable to find the place. This may be a dealbreaker for us.

In addition to multiple names, support for names containing spaces (e.g. "Best Buy").

This would also be great for things that are completely unrelated. For instance, what if you wanted to find a place to buy a car and then find a place to eat. You could use the search keywords: car, restaurant. It would then bring up car dealerships AND restaurants instead of restaurants that fix or sell cars.

Another example would be if someone wanted to buy vodka in Russia but, they are located in the united states. You could use the search terms vodka Russia. The API would then return results for travel agencies to get to Russia and places to buy vodka. The relationship would be Russia->Travel->Business and Vodka->Business. Russia is relate to Travel because you can travel to Russia and Travel is related to Business because of a Travel Agency. Vodka is related to business because a business would sell vodka.

Absolutely that will be great, one keyword is not accurate.

Is there any update on this? It's a pain when searching for local businesses of any type.

Some kind of And Or function in the keyword and it would be great if it could be combined with the type, since some places don't have the appropriate types yet and then you would want to find either the type or the keyword.

any progress on this? It's kind of a very core functionality I'd say. I'm forced to run several iterations of a search when I'm dealing with multiple keywords. It's very inefficient for Google Servers load.

I'm trying to make an app that shows all the restaurants serving food from a certain continent. I need to show Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai,... restaurants, because 'Asian Restaurants' returns only a fraction of the results. I can't do this right now because there is no option to show places based on multiple individual keywords.

Please add this feature.

Is this working now? I just tried passing names with pipe as per instruction and it does not work it omits one name completely? I think this is basic, say for example if I need to get places around a location like 'restuarants', 'Schools', 'Tourist Spots' around at one go? How can I do this? I can not use 'Types' because this is deprecated, can not seem to use names as that does not work and same goes with keyword I think. Can we have an update or suggested work around?
Making multiple calls seems super messy.
