The saddest point is that Corbyn hasn’t anyone around him to say. ‘Apologise without reservation’ and we can all move on. That he hasn’t such a person around him is his fault.

Yes but a he says he didnt say it, there is no proof he did, so anyone saying they know what he said is making a huge assumption and therefore, anyones castigation is premature. Then we come to TM who is surrounded by people to say youre making a mistake but she never listens!

Regardless of whether he said it (spoiler - he did), it’s bad politics to let it be the story. He shouldve apologised and pivoted to May’s chicanery. Instead he has let whether he said it be the story. Being right gets him nowhere, he just needed to kill the story.

Im not saying he didnt, i saw that video and couldbt see people or woman, Im comfortable in saying I dont know for sure. Likewise you really dont know either and have fallen into the trap of mistaking your assumption as fact. You come across as trying too hard to attack him

I couldn’t care less whether he said it. I hate that his instincts always lead him to do exactly what the Tories want. They don’t care what he said. They just wanted the issue as a distraction. He’s given them that because he is a hopeless politician

No it wouldnt because this is the only thing currently unifying the tories so the right wing will be milking this for all its worth. Yes you could say hes handled it badly and its bad politics but say he genuinely didnt say it, I wouldnt apologise either!
