    Amazon is hiding ads in people's wish lists. Imagine showing up to this person's baby shower and finding out this wasn't on their wishlist. This is unfortunately not new, this is a Darkpattern called "Disguised ads"

    Spot the ad: Amazon is placing subtly-labelled ads in shared wishlists. Ie: someone shares a 'new baby' gift list with you, unless you look carefully, you may buy a product Amazon's placed there rather than a 'real' item on the list. (Ht )
