Ask your Google Assistant on Google Home/Mini/Max to play your favorite shows on HBO NOW, CBS All Access, The CW
HBO Now and CBS All Access have both landed on Google Home in the past couple of months, adding to the already available Netflix support. Both of those require that you manually link your accounts to get things working, but The CW doesn’t require an account at all.
To cast content from The CW, simply ask Assistant on your phone or Google Home to play a specific show from the network. That might include “Arrow,” “The Flash,” or others like “Riverdale.”
Play some of your favorite shows and movies from subscription services like HBO NOW, CBS All Access and The CW. You can also cast from eligible Android phones and iPhones. Just start by saying, “Ok Google” or “Hey Google”:
- "Watch Curb Your Enthusiasm"
- “Play Star Trek: Discovery”
- “Turn the volume down”
- “Go back 30 seconds”
- “Play Riverdale”
So the next time your hands are full with popcorn, go ahead and forget the remote. Just say, “Hey Google,” sit back and enjoy.

Poor customer support is one of the key peeves of mobile consumers, because typically when something goes wrong or you want to find out simple details about your mobile plan, billing or network status it can be a confusing matter. Talk to your Google Home to check your Optus postpaid plan.
Optus has announced support for the Google Assistant built into many Android devices and the Google Home and Google Home Mini speakers for postpaid mobile customers.
Just say "Hey Google, Talk to Optus" and you will be able to authenticate your account, and from there check your mobile balance, billing status, data provisioning and check international roaming rates.
Ask questions including,
‘How much do I owe?’
‘How much data do I have left this month?’
‘What are the roaming rates in Italy?”
To invoke Optus-specific support, the phrase to remember will be "Ok Google, talk to Optus", followed by your query. Not every question or possible problem will be solved this way, but Optus states that it will work on testing the service to increase the functionality of the Assistant over time.
