Quake Champions updates the classic series in the age of Overwatch
1We just got a new Doom, and now it's time for a new Quake. Bethesda announced Quake Champions at its E3 press conference tonight with a fully CGI trailer showing a bloody battle between the series' burly humans and bloody cyborg Strogg.
Quake Champions was described as a competitive first-person shooter for PC by Tim Willits, co-designer of the original Quake, who specified that the game was designed to be an e-sport. Quake III was arguably one of the first major e-sports, but Quake Champions makes a change to that template, allowing players to select different classes.
