As we all know by now, Bergeron, McQuaid, and Kevan Miller are all out of the season opener. We will get to see both Rob O'Gara and Brandon Carlo in action and see how well they've been progressing since being drafted (O'Gara was drafted in the 5th Round of the 2011 NHL Draft, and Carlo was drafted 37th overall in last year's draft). Although it will not be the lineup for the year, here is the 2016-2017 predicted lines for your Boston Bruins.
Forwards:
Marchand - Backes - Pastrnak
Spooner - Krejci - Heinen
Beleskey - Czarnik - Hayes
Moore - Nash/Schaller - Acciari
Defensemen:
Chara - Carlo
Krug - Morrow
Liles - C. Miller
Goalies:
Some question marks here are who will be the last one left off the forward and defense lines. Will Schaller make his Bruins debut, or will it be hometown favorite Acciari, or maybe even newly signed Moore or Nash will be left off? Also, who is going to be Krug's partner on defense? Now that Seidenberg is gone, Coach Julien may stick with another big body iin the form of Rob O'Gara, but he could also go with Joe Morrow. We will be able to see how our young forwards flourish because of the Blue-Jacket's 2nd worst defense in the league, allowing 3.1 goals a game. All of these questions will be answered on Thursday, as we take on Columbus at their home base in Ohio. Feel free to comment any other line combo's that the Bruins may come out with.
