The eclectic architecture and the great food.
I want to make it easy for even tiny businesses to communicate with their customers like pros, and not waste time and money doing it.
Working with my favorite people in the world to bring beautiful, quirky products to the masses.
S’mores are easy and fun to make. Plus they’re bite-sized. It seems like a great way to communicate what we’re about. Who doesn’t like a S’more?
Legos and my SNES!
When a team member comes up with a great idea that you know you couldn’t have come up with on your own. It just feels great to know you have the best people working with you, and they’re all committed and passionate.
The Grand Canyon for the quiet vistas and hiking, and New York City for the culture and just the feeling of being in the buzzing center of civilization.
The best meals are the simplest ones: double Shackburger at the Shake Shack in Madison Square Park.
The first time we got a real paying user was transformative for us. We worked hard to make our Pro offering and that first customer proved to us that there are great things to come.
As Smore becomes more and more mainstream, my focus is shifting from just our product to creating a world-class company that’s also a pleasure to work for.
Communicating your expectations very clearly, providing a clear direction, being open, honest and supportive. A leader needs to both inspire and be approachable. They need to make tough, unpopular decisions when needed. They need to know when not to sleep at night and when to ask for help, too.
My Sonos speakers are the best thing ever. So much attention to detail goes into them. It’s refreshing as a user and inspiring as a founder. My Kindle(s) are my BFFs as well :)
A good night’s sleep, and knowing that I’ve earned that sleep with a lot of hard work.
Designing or talking about new products: either mine or ones that I’m excited about.

Food and beautiful people
I care about design and web publishing and I wanted to share that with others.
That I am working on something that people care about. And that I work with successful and creative people. The challenges of my job constantly push me to be a better professional and a better human being.
Lego Technic
Before we started Smore, we created a Random Startup Generator as a joke, just something to do. We launched it, went to sleep, woke up and 100,000 people had seen it. So, I understood then that the internet just loves good stuff.
The Intrepid in New York because I really loved planes as a kid.
At a small delicatessen on Court Street in Brooklyn - we ate onion soup, a Ruben sandwich and the best chocolate chip cookie.
When we got our first paying user. I was sure it was a bug and I accused Gilad of creating it. Then we checked and it was actually real, which made me so happy.
My goal is to bring awesome to our team, continue to build a successful company with a unique company culture, and give back to the community as well as the start-up ecosystem.
Doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. Knowing how to listen.
My Nikon D810
Good conversations and good food.

Everything is close by and always open. I love that I can get a roll of sushi at 4 in the morning.
I love the balance we found between working hard, getting stuff done, and maintaining a relaxed life.
In 2013 we went on a 3-month business trip to New York. I am so glad we had the chance to do it. It was a great experience, eventhough I had to live with Gilad and Shlomi ;)
I find myself playing my Xbox way too much.
I remember waking up on the first day at Koh Phi Phi. We were staying right on the beach, no cars, barely any technology. It was just so quiet and peaceful.
I've had so many good ones. But one remarkable meal I remember was at a place called Court Road Grocers. It's like a 50 minute ride to Brooklyn and then a 10 minute walk. The long ride is totally worth the most amazing onion soup and 'The Perfect Reuben,' as we call it.
My Nikon D800E. It's absolutely amazing.
Seeing little details in products that someone took the effort of paying attention to.
My dog Gnocchi :)
Sitting on the grass once a week and relaxing. The best ideas come to me.

It means having clear vision and getting everyone around you as excited about it as you. It means creating a culture of open and free communication. And it means keeping the best interest of your team members at heart while inspiring them to create their best work.
The first time I was in Paris, we were young and budget conscience. For lunch, we went to the market and bought fresh baguettes, smelly and delicious cheese, and vegetables. We picnicked outside between long walks around the city. It was so simple and so good.
Photographs, elegant design, craftsmanship, positive energy.
My passport.

I love how everyone owns a dog. If you are like me and don't have one, you will definitely get your daily fix by just walking down the street. Living on the beach is also a plus.
Interacting with customers and understanding their questions and figuring out the best solutions. When someone emails me back and thanks me, it always makes my day!
When I found my very first big bug on my own and we were able to fix it quickly without it affecting any of our lovely users!
Weird question, but I guess Silly Putty!
Cape of Good Hope, South Africa. It feels like you are on the edge of the world.
My sister and I were backpacking through Europe and we were in Helsinki, Finland. We were starving and we finally found this cafe and they had the best chicken burgers.
My generation (Generation Y). I love seeing what people my age have accomplished in such a short time. It makes you believe that success doesn't have to come when you are older. If you have a good idea and you believe in it, you can make it happen.
Chocolate.
Well-rested and after I've worked out. I feel like I can conquer the world!

It feels like this city never sleeps, it is timeless and ageless.
I love digging into new technologies with which I am not familiar. Our work here gives me that opportunity.
I’ve only begun here a short while ago but I’m happy to continually be producing great work with the entire team.
I have several Raspberry Pi's which I like doing cool stuff with.
I haven’t traveled as much as I would like, but to this point, the Passo Tonale mountains in Italy. It's a great place for snowboarding and the view is amazing.
I will never forget the amazing Calzone that I ate while snowboarding in Passo Tonale.
Successful people who speak about their failures along the way.
Steak, I really like steak :)

The smart and creative people I work with.
I'm new so I don't have any yet. But I am going to rewrite all of Smore's code and make it send free Christmas cards on the 4th of July :)
My projector and receiver.
Oh, there are so many. A few examples are Huayna-Potosi and Villa-Tunari in Bolivia, Pucon in Chile and Jericuacuara in Ceará Brazil.
I once found myself at a premium cooking school's private restaurant in the heart of Rome. I don't remember the name, but the 7-course meal was amazing.
