The Mapillary API, Mapillary vector tiles, and the MapillaryJS library are available to software developers building map platforms, geospatial tools, and location-based services.
To use Mapillary’s developer resources, please register your application here to obtain a client_id. Each application should have a unique client_id.
You may integrate street-level images in your application either as individual images retrieved using the Mapillary API or vector tiles, or within an embedded viewer using the MapillaryJS library.
- Use of Mapillary’s developer resources for rendering street-level images hosted by Mapillary is free up to 50,000 views of the street-level images per month. For usage beyond 50,000 views per month, Mapillary commercial terms entitle you to a world-wide, perpetual, non-transferable license to the images and to any data you derive from the images. Please refer to our pricing plans for more detail.
If you are downloading individual images and serving them from your own servers, you must attribute the image(s) by visibly displaying the Mapillary logo (which you can find here) and linking back to the Mapillary homepage or corresponding Mapillary image page. Our recommended attribution wording is:
Images from Mapillary, CC BY-SA, by @username
Please contact us if you need to download more than 10,000 images.
