    I started making gaming videos when i was 13 and i definetly got some shit for it. BUT I loved it, I found my place and the skills i learnt like editing / animating helped me immensely when i got older. ALSO i know it’s easier said then done but who gives a shit? you do you!

    I have, but the fear of being made fun of and the anxiety of not being able to achieve anything or that the content I creat won’t be as good as I imagined it has always stopped me.

    yeah but i still get that. everybody feels that way, especially when doing something creative. you just get better at pushing that horrible feeling down. also when you first start making stuff you know it’s not going to be good and that’s fine. it takes time.

    I agree that YouTube in comparison to other jobs isn’t the hardest thing in the world. But it must be impossible now to start out and get your stuff seen. Obvs when you have millions of subscribers life is amazing, but the grind from 0 subs is HARD. I got lucky with my friends.

    Unpopular opinion: Everybody think YouTube is easy but YouTube is actually a very difficult job and takes a lot of creative effort. You can fall off after one bad video. If it was easy, everybody would be millionaires 😂 but ITS NOT
