    I wrote this thread b/c I think sometimes students, especially when deciding their path (as many weighing grad school are now), see us & think they’re inherently different if they don’t have the same love & dedication to science as we appear to. But we weren’t always like this.

    ... none of it happened overnight. You can fall slowly in love with science. It happened to me.
