"Data beats dogma" my latest post on why focusing on data helps change perceptions tech industry:

  2. Really Facebook? Really. You can go get stuffed

  3. This is Assange in latest interview-on why Wikileaks doesn't target Russia. What more evidence do we need he is Putin's stooge?

  4. Have a mathematical Christmas!

  5. Ooohh... Someone is gonna get this

  6. Happy to all my Jewish friends!

  7. 5/5 what's left fits Twitter's profile - full of opinionated loudmouths and those who rubberneck. So build a business model for that.

  8. 4/ Pretty quickly though, people have started dropping out in increasing numbers. All that is left are the talkers and observers.

  9. 3/ The main protagonists were my friend, another person I didn't know and me (big surprise huh?). Debate was polite yet detailed.

  10. 2/ the group initially numbered about 20. Initially conversation was pretty broad, but quickly got more involved (and heated)

  11. 1/ Interesting. So my mate who isn't on Twitter just created a FB Messenger group of his more informed friends to try & get debate going

  12. Birth of the "Sharing Economy"? Or was it a thing before then? My impression is that grandiose claims become a rod for tech's back

  13. Can anyone name the point where it became a thing in Silicon Valley for tech to go beyond products into grandiose visions? Feels recent
