it's not that all the right-wing outlets don't also publish virulent articles on this topic, but writing for left-leaning publications gives people that are otherwise far-right a legitimacy they otherwise do not have access to

in giving columns to terfs and gender-crit people, the new statesman and the guardian are platforming far-right views, whether they know it or not

this is going to ~sound~ like hyperbole for folks not familiar with the discourse, but transphobic and "gender critical" people have close ties to the far right; they are intent on wiping out trans people, you need to understand this and stop tolerating them

this is not a fun talking point, a ton of my friends are scared for their *lives* because of what our press deems a legitimate debate, please stop enabling these people
