    John Krebs, born I Berlin, moved to Palestine in 1933. Went to school there & joined the Haganah militia. Moved to US 1946. In Congress 2 terms. Krebs was first Palestinian Member of Congress

    It might be that the first Palestinian to become a Congressman was Lived in the Palestine Mandate 1933-1946 & I presume had Palestinian citizenship. Jewish. Move over ?

    Prof Noam Lubell also gave his congratulations to NYT without disclosing he worked at the anti-Israel org B'Tzomet. "An exceptional example of reporting from this conflict which combines careful investigation, nuanced writing, substantiated facts and human heart."

    The editors and writers of this "investigation" gave the game away when they chose, as their "expert" legal witness, a long time critic of Israel. The NYT got the result it wanted from this left of center law professor from the UK. And there was no disclosure of his bias.

    Regarding the death of Rouzan al-Najjar, the Times seems to have studiously ignored claims by at least on top Hamas official that 50 of those killed during the violent riots were members of Hamas.

    Blockbuster? Killing of a medic? A non-story. Nothing to say and 10 reporters to say it. An enormous amount of softwear indicating that 3 were killed with one bullet, a wild coincidence & the unsupported conclusion is that maybe Israel is guilty of a warcrime.

    Garbage. Just a bunch of “maybes”. Do you apply these “techniques” to anyone except ? Give ONE example. & WHO approved stupendous allocation of resources to non-story with only goal to smash Israel.

    Very informative piece on Drone Wars. ISIS uses small drones to drop grenades. Relevant for Israel where a "press photographer" was shot: "Iraq discovered best way to counteract threat from drones' surveillance, attacks, or intereference is simple: Kill the drone operator"

    .. asked if you missed big picture by focusing on 1 medic. Your response was v problematic. "185 killed (MANY HAMAS), scores unintentional (PER UNNAMED IDF SOURCE). Tendency in news business to treat people sadly as statistics. 1 person gets killed & 1/2

    But print headline said "Israel Killed a Medic." That doesn't sound like an unintentional ricochet. The facts about the ricochet appear only 80% into the story. Not surprising. Look how 's colleagues saw the story.

    Context: permits 1000s of Palestinian to cross border in order to work in . Each one must be pass security check to prevent terror. If Pals had invested in economy and jobs, instead of 70 yrs of terror & corruption, they wouldn't need to cross border to work.

    We spent the early hours of this morning at the Bethlehem checkpoint. Thousands of Palestinian workers have to use this military checkpoint in order to get to work in Israel. It made my stomach turn.
