"Remember me" box unchecks itself each time too. This has been happening since around the time reddit announced new quarantines. I have finally found something more frustrating than having a third of my screen taken up by USE OUR APP USE OUR REDESIGN TRY OUR MOBILE SITE. I dumped my cookies to see if it helped, it did not. It seems that this is happening when I would otherwise have been sent to the redesign (despite having legacy chosen). I m no longer having that issue. Now I am just logged right out when I click on some links within reddit. I don't know what the trigger is because it isn't all links that do this. I suspect either .np links or else I just don't know. All I am sure of is that despite the polls and reassurances, using old.reddit is broken. I like reddit less than I like the redesign and I am feeling unwelcome in a place I have loved for ten years. I welcome all suggestions that don't include using the redesign. Well, I welcome those too, I'm just not going to do that.
I keep getting an error message, is this how Reddit plans to keep us all on the redesign?
Hello, This is really annoying and happening to me constantly. I keep looking online and people have been having this bug for years but it just keeps happening to me daily and It's driving me insane. Is there any fix for this yet?
Thanks
I have checked all folders associated with my email still no dice.
I do have adblock install on my browser but I whitelist Reddit but no ads are loaded in the site. I see where they should be but there is no ads on it.
If you do a post with a link to a website (for example in r/CryptoCurrency) and you delete it because you want to renew/improve the headline, you can't repost within 30 days.
I guess this 30-day-rule is to avoid douple postings. But it stays even if the posting is deleted. At the end there is no posting possible.
For the past few hours, the auto load feature when using Reddit Enhancement Suite in Firefox has not worked.
When the user clicks on the login button, the pop-up window does not get focus.
It's a bit obnoxious when you instinctively click "Tab" to get in the login username field, and instead you just navigate through the page on the background.
Chat is not working on desktop for several users, regardless of browser. Still works in the mobile app, though.
For example if you go to:
https://www.reddit.com/gilded/.compact
You'll see that every thread or comment that has more than 1 gold will show "x2" or "x3", etc.
It's missing the actual picture
In the .mobile site, the link is: <span class="gilded-gid2-icon" data-count="4">x4</span>
On the regular site, it's: <span class="gilded-gid2-icon dp1538147762_text" data-count="4" __decreased__="element1538147762">x4</span>
Please don't let .compact die! it's the best reddit
I am attempting to look at /r/fullcommunism by visiting it directly in chrome on my phone. It is returning a Reddit 'sorry you don't have access to this' message. Do I need to remove the Reddit app or anything else completely from my phone to access /r/fullcommunism again?
The past week the desktop message icon will go red. I click and brought to empty page, nothing here. Clicking ALL messages and I see the unread ones
EDIT: Seems fixed now, for me. Chrome Mac 10.13
Small bug but a bug nonetheless when I get a notification of a new message on my screen and I click on it it brings me to an page in the unread menu. but when I click on all messages I see messages that I have never read in there that did not show up in unread. happened a few times, not a huge issue since I can still find what ever unread messages I have got, on top.
I keep getting an inbox notification for a single message that does not exist. It happens every time I open the new reddit on my browser, even on different computers.
This problem has existed in the past, but it had become much worse as of late.
Reddit now logs me out any time I close the browser, in addition to randomly logging me out in the middle of browsing when I try to upvote stuff.
I have the password saved in Samsung Pass and it remembers me, but a major pain in the butt. I use the Samsung browser on my phone.
Edited to add: I am now also being logged out when I refresh my browser.
This submission should have been removed the instant it was submitted to /r/Documentaries, because Hypernormalisation is on our list of recently-posted documentaries:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Documentaries/comments/9jb1bg/hypernormalisation_2016_bbc_how_governments/
However, AutoModerator did not remove it until five hours after it had been submitted, which means that all of the discussion and commentary was disappeared from reddit.
This is a terrible way to treat the community.
Could we have it that AutoModerator does something more sensible than run its rules after a submission has become popular?
I can't verify my email because it's already been verified, but I'm still unable to post frequently or visit quarantined subreddits.
Every time I select the messenger when there's an alert it tells me that "there doesn't seem to be anything here", but when I go to my read messages, the new messages are there.
For some reason reddit thinks that I've seen the new messages already whenever I click the icon with an alert. I haven't read those messages yet, but reddit thinks that I have for some reason.
When I have a notification under Messages, I click it once and it takes me to the "There doesn't seem to be anything here" screen, I click it again and then all my notifications show up as normal. Any possible solutions to this?
In the NEW-form of reddit the text which is the "Description"-text of the OLD-style Reddit (intended for key words) is shown into (INTO!) the not-editable widget "Community details"! As the result the side bar consist two "descriptions" - the text area of the NEW widget and the description area of the OLD form Reddit too, both of them simultaneously. Note: the "description" text shown into the "Community Details" widget.
when i see the button turn red and i click on it there's nothing in the unread category, i have to go to all messages and see them and be careful not to miss any. how do you fix this?
I have the old design set for my account and an old account page
I get the IP to show up by clicking the premium badge on my profile and then clicking on my profile again in the page that opens.
Might be a bug caused by the fact that the premium site is always using the redesign and clicking on my profile there also shows it in the redesign until I refresh the page.
Just letting everyone know that might have wondered what's up with that.
