This is interesting. I had just ordered a new card on the basis that Amex were back on board, and was considering the paid tier after a trial period. I predicted this, I just didn't say it publicly (which I kinda regret!)
On a personal note, I don't use Amex (they declined me twice), so it's a bit meh, but I know lots of people do.
On a professional note: this feels *very* anti-competitive and it needs regulators to step in. twitter.com/TechCrunch/sta…
