Barrister, Matrix chambers. Preoccupied by the demise of our democracy and the grave risk to us all of Brexit. Tweeting in independent capacity.

Seems pretty likely to me. He was glowing at the people's vote rally...the applause is likely to have sparked the desire... Such a bloody house of cards soap opera. Would be good to get back to normal and start thinking about solving the vast problems in this country.

I don't think could have been so unequivocal had there not been agreement.

works as in 'functions' or 'operates' ie according to Treaties and laws, agreed by Member States and European Parliament.

Wrong again. They are a shower. Before you take risks, especially with other people's lives and businesses (the future of your country), you assess them. That did not happen before deciding whether to hold a referendum, nor in relation to options, prior to triggering Art. 50.

Blimey, this from on the cabinet meeting to approve the draft agreement “Others concentrated on no-deal consequences. Matt Hancock, the health secretary, told the room that he could not guarantee people would not die as a result of a no-deal Brexit.”

When one looks back at history, so much is truly incredible. And surely you are right that that is how we should view the future; anything is possible. I am certainly not sure that a further referendum would result in remain. It must not include a no deal option.

Wrong wrong wrong. These people are ideologues. They do not prepare, do not read evidence, do not enquire. Care nothing for truth or expertise. They lie and mislead with impunity. That is not democratic.

Poor things say they were "sidelined"....couldn't hold their own evidently. Had they had sufficient strength and determination, all would be fine of course. Such a shame they were so weak....

A claim to have been sidelined in your employment (David Davis, Steve Baker, Dominic Raab and Boris Johnson) is weak to put it mildly; a limp excuse for failure. One might even describe it as 'snowflake' - certainly flaky.

Why should there need to be a referendum? Leaving EU is not possible without A. risking stability in N Ireland and B. swinging a wrecking ball through the economy. Delaying stopping prolongs indecision + damage. PARLIAMENT, listen Be LEADERS, not leavers REMAIN

No - that's not an option - our schedules are under challenge by US, NZ, Brazil, Argentina and others. There is no WTO only isolation and chaos.

Yes. See article a couple of days ago in Business Insider. They are crack-pot ideologues the like of which we've not seen since Lenin.

all say with one voice: "it's not our fault; we got sidelined". How pathetic is that. They had the job - they blew it. Time to stop the blame games and accept responsibility.

It is clear that there are now only two options: this deal or staying in the EU & retaining all our rights & privileges. If Parliament is unable to take the decision between the two, which it can & should, then those options must be put to the people.

Wrong. I am an EU lawyer who understand how it works - in particular the core principles of law in the Treaty. The moment TM set out her red-lines, I knew we would arrive here. It was a negotiation within a rule based system. It was not a free for all. This was inevitable.

The bravest of you would take the right decision; Parliament would itself conclude that following the negotiation it has become clear that the UK cannot leave the EU without significant harm, such that no referendum should ever have been held. It would order PM to revoke Art. 50.
