I understood that the vote on took place this morning in a committee of the Hungarian parliament and the plenary vote is scheduled for next week June 20. I sincerely hope the parliament waits for the advice of the Venice Commission.

If leaders do not agree during the summit starting June 28, there is little chance that the EU will succeed in delivering a functioning European asylum policy based on solidarity between member states and with asylum seekers before the end of the term. Time to deliver!
