I've seen dozens of such articles over the past few months. The overall impression I'm getting is that no one knows all the different ways that OS compromises its users' private information. Therefore, no one knows how to stop it completely, short of not using it to begin with.

Finally made it back to the Katy Trail. I made it almost 3 miles before I got a call from one of my techs saying I need to come in and relieve him. The same almost 3 miles to get back to the car, plus 50 miles back to the office. Of course, everyone was gone by then.

LOL. I forgot it was the Friday before a holiday weekend. I carried a total of four riders from the office to the parking lot while the regular driver took supplies to and from the office across town. I'll accept the extra two hours of pay.

No. I don't use browser bookmarks for anything I cannot see without logging in.
I sometimes use the 'like' or 'favorite' function for that, but that is definitely sub-optimal.

Java - programmers love it, sysadmins (and I'd argue users) hate it.
There is now 1 size fits all programming language or scripting language. Use the right tool for the job. Perl wasn't designed for structurally complex projects, just like my folding bike isn't ideal for long journeys compared to a motorbike.
