It would be great if support for GGeoXml/KML (with auto-resize, auto-zoom) could be implemented in the Static Maps API! e.g. http://maps.google.com/staticmap?q=KML_FILE_URL&size=400x400&key=MAPS_API_KEY

This would be great. The support for polygons was good, but a couple of my polygons make the URL too long. If i could put them in a KML and get back a PNG/JPG would be awesome. Gotta love google maps.
