    Also could be the gender tilt - baby care tends to fall to moms, and if your company is 80% male there will be proportionally more dogs.

    Hadn't thought about this. Perhaps the result of homogenous companies - mostly younger folks w/o kids? Or maybe an urban thing? Not sure.

    I once had someone ask me, "why is it ok to bring dogs to work but not babies?" and it gave me real pause. 🤔 Seems backwards, right?

    a friend's company has both an actual daycare, and a doggy daycare (so dog sort of at work, but not actually in the working space). Jealous.

    I'm not allergic - dogs just make me nervous (particularly large ones) & barking really stresses me out. Not a good work environment for me.
