Note: This form is only for editors, publishers, or libraries. If you are an individual writer, scholar, student wishing to use WebCite^® for archiving and citing webreferences you can use WebCite^® free of charge without having to apply for membership (see FAQ).

The membership fee for full membership is currently a voluntary donation which should be dependent on your publishing revenue and the number of scholarly articles with webreferences you are publishing per year. We recommend to donate $1 per WebCite reference per year. For example, if you publish 500 articles per year, and each of these articles contains on average one webreference, we recommend to donate $500. We ask for a minimum donation of $20.

Terms & Conditions (for publishers/editors only)

With submitting this form, I (the “publisher”) agree to the following terms and conditions.

1.	With submitting this membership application form and if accepted as member, publisher agrees to be listed as “member” on the WebCite^® site and all promotional and educational material produced by WebCite^®.
2.	Participating publishers are encouraged to identify themselves as WebCite^® member on their own website and in their own promotional material. Members should affix the proper “registered trademark” symbol after the mark, and include a full attribution notice in their publications where appropriate (e.g., "WebCite^® is a registered trademark of Gunther Eysenbach, see www.webcitation.org for details").
3.	In consideration for receiving permission to participate in the WebCite^® consortium, I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the University of Toronto, University Health Network, WebCite^®, their officers, agents, servants, or employees (hereinafter referred to as RELEASEES) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or any of the property belonging to me, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, or otherwise, while participating in WebCite^® and using its services.
4.	I further hereby AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the RELEASEES from any loss, liability, damage or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation and use of WebCite^®, WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES or otherwise.
