All campus transit is fare-free and available for all parents, alumni and visitors. Check NextBus to find out when the next available bus will arrive (also download the iPhone, Android or official Georgia Tech app).
Click here for transit route maps and service information for the Tech Trolley and Stinger buses. Please note that the Tech Trolley is available to transport visitors to and from the Midtown MARTA station.
Visitors may also use Gotcha Ride for quick trips or Zipcar for hourly car rentals.
Parking meters offer a short-term parking solution. Many meters can be paid for using Parkmobile, which allows customers to pay for Georgia Tech parking meters using their cell phone. Customers may also opt to receive text message alerts and reminders prior to the meter’s expiration.
Once you are registered with Parkmobile, use a mobile app, the internet, QR code, or call toll free (1-877-727-5714) to pay for parking at metered spaces. Also, customers may opt to receive text message alerts and reminders prior to expiration.
Handicapped parking on the campus of Georgia Tech requires that a state-issued disability hangtag or license plate and a Georgia Tech parking permit be displayed. Parking is authorized in any handicapped space on campus with these credentials (hourly parking fees apply to customers parked in handicapped spaces within visitors parking areas).
To accommodate campus guests, PTS offers Temporary and Weekend Permits for permitted parking areas. Please bring the vehicle’s registration and the driver’s official ID to the PTS office when purchasing temporary permits for visitors. Weekend permits are not available when campus is hosting a Saturday home football game.
Several visitors parking lots are located on campus that provide hourly parking accommodations for campus visitors. Cash and credit cards are accepted at all visitors parking areas. Also, staff members are on hand during business hours at Areas 2 and 8.
