Google Gadgets API is a Google API which allows developers to create Google Gadgets easily.
What are Gadgets?[edit]
Gadgets are mini-applications built in HTML, JavaScript, Flash and Silverlight that can be embedded in webpages and other apps. They can run on multiple sites and products (even writing them once allow users to run them in multiple places).[1]
Gadgets are made up of a few blocks: XML, HTML and Javascript. Users who want to get started creating gadgets (and who want to begin a developer) need to know at least HTML language, or then they can write gadgets in XML language and Javascript language too.[2]
