How to Update CVE Entries

Please use our CVE Request web form to:

• Request updates to a CVE Entry.
• Request additions (e.g., add references) to a CVE Entry.
• Notify the CVE Team about a vulnerability publication.
• Submit "Other" comments/questions to the CVE Team about a CVE Entry.

How to Request Updates in NVD

To request updates in the U.S. National Vulnerability Database (NVD), please contact National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) directly at [email protected] to:

• Request changes to Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) scores.
• Request changes to Common Platform Enumeration (CPE) information.
• Add a "Vendor Comment" about a product to a CVE Entry.
