AFOREST is a way of persuasion but why should we use it? Well because... Why not. AFOREST stands for Addressing the Audience, Facts, Opinions of Authority , Rhetorical Questions, Emotive Language, Statistics and Triples. Let go through each of them.
- To be able to promote your idea you need to be eye-catching and more attracting. Why? Well because how will people be introduced to your idea? It is like Writing a Line (This Blog has been previously deleted because of a line...)
- BACK UP your Idea with facts. Why? Well because it could be opinions that the community says. Eg: A featured page. Use Facts of why this Idea you are showing off is just so good.
- Get quotes from local Staff of Global Staff. They know what is right, like Sannse. Let them guide yo…

Well to start, my adoption went through and I was quite pleased. There was no fanfare or shouts just an active link at the bottom of the page that said Admin.
As I started poking around and looking for issues to fix I began looking in to previous members and admins. I was shocked to see that the wiki was founded around 2004, and it has been in existence since then. Obviously, the Wiki changed hands from time to time but the one thing that prevailed during all this time was the integrity of the information added and shared by so many Wikians.
Since I discovered it back in the time of Mandrake distro, Linux has always been a mystery and intriguing OS to me. Of course like so many, I have been using Windows over the years, and my experience wit…

Hello fellow Wikians! Do you like memes? Have you heard of Weegee? Do you find Weegee interesting?Well come to Weegeepedia! We are a fanon community inspired by both the Weegee meme itself and the former Weegee fad! We have our own canon, and we would be interested in seeing what you could add on to it!
Weegee is a character based on a sprite found in the educational game Mario is Missing! Eventually, a LUElinks user named MonkeyintheCloset remade the sprite into a vectorized image. This became the subject to the meme we know today, and later became the subject of Weegeepedia!
Weegeepedia is a fanon community that goes by one timeline. That being said, that doesn't mean you can't add your own creations! You could create a nation in the vast …

Templates are a great way to add information to your wiki. However, there are both pros and cons to them.
- Templates are used for many purposes, such as notices and categorizing. This way, you can just type out

- Note: since the last blog was updated way too late to still allow comments, I have remade the blog here for you to comment :)

Good morning/afternoon/evening, Wikians! My username is KCCreations, though you can also call me KC/KCC or Rina. I am writing this blog to tell you about one of my home wikis, the Monstercat Wiki.
Monstercat (formerly known as Monstercat Media) is a Canadian electronic music record label based in Vancouver. It was founded in 2011 by Mike Darlington (CEO) and Ari Paunonen (COO).
The label signs their artists on a per-track basis, giving them full copyright to a song while still allowing the artists to release other productions where they see fit. 3 new tracks are released per week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays), with an hour-long podcast every Tuesday. After a certain amount of releases—currently 30—Monstercat bundles them into a compilation…

'Ello,
I am an administrator over at the Battle Chasers Wikia, and I'd like to present— the Darksiders Wiki. Seriously.
Battle Chasers is a comic book series created by Joe Mad, the creative director of the Darksiders video game series, back in 1998. It follows the journey of a band of characters, including Gully, a nine year-old girl with a set of powerful gloves– all that is left of her missing father, Aramus. It was a comic book series renowned for its "arcanepunk" fantasy setting, and, as some may argue, its gratuitous... delays.
However, that was 1998.
Today, Battle Chasers is being revived back in its original comic format, and, after a succesful Kickstarter, as the upcoming JRPG-styled video game Battle Chasers: Nightwar (developed by key pe…

I'm again here with a couple of chat skins. It has been long ago since I posted a chat skin here. Partly because of my personal Chat Skins Wiki of course, but also because I kind of retired making any chat skins for some time. However I couldn't possible make not a chat skin for this amazing event.
UEFA Euro 2016 as it's called officially is the football tournament in which only European countries are allowed to participate (actually all member countries of the UEFA, but that's not that important currently). This year there'll be the highest number of participants in the actual tournament: 24. Also quite important to note; it's held in France this year. It all starts today at 21:00 (CET Time) in the Saint-Denis Stadium with the match France…

Hi guys, it's story time.
Back in 2011, which is the year when I joined Wikia, I was part of a different community. I was a user on IMVU (a 3D chat client: users have a 3D avatar and can hang out in 3D chat rooms) and I had found my place in the role-playing community there. We built characters and made stories together, it was all pretty cool. However, a lot of people's characters were like human or vampire or elf... People all had kingdoms and covens. I mean, it gets boring after a while, no?
So I thought I'd make my own species to roam around. I called them the "Hvetshran" — they were a tribal people who live hidden from humans and have reptilic scales, fangs and a pointy tail. They were also 6 to 7 feet tall and were one of the species tha…

Today, June 6th, 2016 (Ramadan 1st, 1437), marks the beginning of the Holy month of Ramadan.
All around the world over 1.6 billion people begin their 30 days of fasting where they will abstain from both food and drink from sunrise to sunset. It is during this fasting that Muslims believe they obtain a greater understanding of those who go without so often. It is also when they believe that they achieve a heightened state of morality. But this Holy month of Ramadan is not simply about fasting and prayer but also about giving back to the communities in which they live and work.
It is this last value that I wish to instill in Wikians during this month. During this month (June 6th - July 5th) I ask of all Wikians to give back to the communities …
