YeahWrite Membership has its perks!

Becoming a YeahWrite Member gives you access to editorial evaluations, discounts, and more. There are two tiers of membership and each membership is good for one year.

Tier 1 | $25 per year: Tier 1 Members will receive one editorial evaluation, one Member Spotlight post on you, your blog, or your website, a membership badge for your blog or website, weekly Twitter shout outs, and a listing on our Members page. Tier 1 Members will have access to additional editorial consultations at a discounted Members Only rate.

Tier 2 | $50 per year: Tier 2 Members will receive two editorial evaluations, one Member Spotlight post on you, your blog, or your website, a membership badge for your blog or website, weekly Twitter shout outs, and a listing on our Members page. Tier 2 Members will have access to additional editorial consultations at a discounted Members Only rate. In addition, Tier 2 Members can receive a discount on most YeahWrite goods and services such as Super Challenge entry fees, classes, and more. For classes and events with limited capacity, Tier 2 Members will receive early notification prior to general registration.

To fully register for the YeahWrite Membership program, submit your registration form and then click on the link for either Tier 1 or Tier 2 to submit your payment via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, please email us at [email protected] and request an invoice.

Additional Editorial Evaluations

Members are entitled to a $10 discount on review of their work. This means you pay just $30, instead of the non-member fee of $40, for each approximately 1,000 words of fiction or creative nonfiction. Send us your story or essay (or chapter in an ongoing work, if it’s the appropriate length), and an editor will send you back an email with developmental commentary either in the body of the email or in the document itself, whichever is closer to the nature of the edits your work needs, as well as line and copy edits if appropriate. You can send your writing as an attachment or by sharing a document in a cloud storage application like Google Docs or Dropbox. You can also request a “quick and dirty” review, which is a brief commentary with fast turnaround on a piece you plan to submit to that week’s challenge grid, or a similar post-mortem if one of your pieces didn’t perform the way you expected it to in the popular vote or if you want to know where you fell short of an editorial staff pick. These reviews resemble the love letters you might receive on a moderated grid.
